Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher Marcy Westcott Releases New Book “Searching for Sanity: How I Overcame Crisis with Mindfulness and How You Can Too”
BLANCO, Texas, August 12, 2025 – Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher Marcy Westcott releases her new book, Searching for Sanity: How I Overcame Crisis with Mindfulness and How You Can Too.
In her new book, Marcy helps readers learn how to:
- Find more peace in their days and more joy in life
- Heal from loss and manage grief
- Cultivate creativity and inspiration
Marcy’s book is a navigational guide that offers practical and accessible meditation and mindfulness techniques for anyone searching to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
Prompted by the toll of long-term stress and anxiety, Marcy discovered the benefits of meditation and mindfulness for her mental, emotional and spiritual health. Witnessing the transformative effects that meditation and mindfulness had on others, Marcy now teaches these practices through her Still State Meditation & Mindfulness Instruction.
“As a CPA and business owner, I’ve spent years pushing through stress without always recognizing how much it was affecting me. Marcy’s book gave a name to the internal voice I’ve battled—‘The Bad Roommate’—and reminded me that with intention, mindfulness, and self-compassion, it is possible to change the narrative. Her story is honest, inspiring, and packed with practical insight. I’m excited to explore meditation for myself, and grateful for the clarity her book brought to my journey,” said Melissa Mastrodomenico, CPA, President of NAWBO San Antonio.
Marcy is collaborating with The San Antonio Botanical Garden who believes in the healing power of nature. She is a valued partner in their wellness programming where she teaches meditation classes.
